Granger High student well on the road to recovery

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — A 15-year-old Granger High School student who was struck by a vehicle last week is well on his way to recovering.
In a Facebook posting on Monday, Granger High School announced the student was alert and recovering.
“So happy to report that our student struck by a car last week is alert and recovering,” the post read.
On Tuesday, Sept. 19, the student darted out in front of traffic just before noon and was struck by a white SUV traveling south. The incident happened in the area of 3450 West and 3500 South.
The driver remained on scene and cooperated with authorities during the investigation.
In the same posting, the high school is already looking forward to welcoming the student back.
“We can’t wait to have him back at Granger,” the post read.
