Fatal crash on US 40 leaves two dead

SALT LAKE CITY — Two are dead and one is in critical condition following a crash on Highway 40 near Soldier Creek. The highway is closed to one lane for alternating traffic.
Around 4:30 p.m. a 911 call was made for an accident involving a Dodge Pickup and a Honda Accord.
Trooper Luis Silva with Utah Highway Patrol told KSL NewsRadio the pickup truck was traveling eastbound at mile marker 47, lost control and crossed into the westbound lanes.
