Two dead after plane crash in Grand County

SALT LAKE CITY — Two people died in a plane crash near the Utah border with Colorado on Wednesday afternoon.

Grand County officials said a chartered plane was en route to Tacoma, Washington from Grand Junction Regional Airport in Colorado.

The airplane is reportedly a Hawker 900XP, fixed-wing multi-engine aircraft.

The two people on board include a pilot and a second-in-command

An investigation is underway.
