There could be some changes to the way you listen to KSL NewsRadio through the website, apps

SALT LAKE CITY — They say you shouldn’t change a good thing, but even the oldest radio station west of the Mississippi has to change it up every once in a while. We moved our digital feeds that support the ability to listen to KSL NewsRadio over to a new hosting service. We think it’ll be the best way to continue to bring you news you can trust when you need it the most.

But that means you might have a hard time hearing KSL NewsRadio with some of the changes. If you are, here’s what you can do to make sure your listening can continue as uninterrupted as possible after this change.

If you listen to KSL NewsRadio via our app

Just update it! Our development team worked so that you could still listen to your favorite shows directly in the KSL NewsRadio app, whether that’s for Android or iPhone. Make sure you have the latest version of the app, and you’re golden.

If you listen through KSL News app

If you’re streaming through the KSL News app, this update may take some time. The KSL News app is hosted by a different company, which is working to reconnect our listening services. Meantime, we recommend you download the KSL NewsRadio app mentioned above.

If you listen to KSL NewsRadio on the web

If you’re listening to KSL NewsRadio on our website through your preferred browser, you can still do that uninterrupted. If you bookmarked the audio tuner and go there straight every time, just update it to this link instead.

If you listen with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or another smart speaker

For your smart speakers, you can still prompt the device like you normally would. For example: Alexa, open KSL.

If you have any other issues that are not addressed by the above fixes, please reach to our digital development team.

We want to hear from you.
