Train cars derailed in Salt Lake City, no injuries reported

SALT LAKE CTIY — Early Friday morning, approximately six Union Pacific train cars derailed at the Salt Lake City rail yard. 

A spokesperson for Union pacific told KSL NewsRadio the incident occurred at 4 a.m. and no injuries were reported. 

Currently, the incident is under investigation and cleanup is underway. 

Hazmat was not involved.
