Salt Lake City International Airport sees delays as weather impacts the U.S.

SALT LAKE CITY — The severe weather across the south and midwest continued affecting air travel Monday and the Salt Lake City International Airport wasn’t immune to delays and cancelations.
According to FlightAware, 44 flights within, into or out of Salt Lake City were canceled Monday. At last count, 177 flights have been delayed.
Delta and Southwest flights have seen the most cancelations.
Delays and cancelations at the Salt Lake airport come after days of impacted travel due to strong winter weather conditions across the United States.
FlightAware reported that the U.S. saw 8,888 delays and 1,582 cancelations within, into or out of the country on Sunday.
