SALT LAKE CITY–Last week’s stormy weather will die down by Monday night. However, storms are expected to return on Friday.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Linda Cheng said Monday morning will begin with rain and snow showers, but not enough to make the morning commute risky.
“For example in the Provo area … the road temperature is still fairly warm.”
Cheng said that after Monday evening, the stormy weather should end. The sun and warmth are expected to return.
“We’re going to head into a warmer and drier pattern starting tomorrow,” said Cheng.
Temperatures could hit the 60s before rain comes again Friday. Additionally, there could be more storms next week according to Chen.
“There’s still some systems moving through the area after that but it just depends on whether it will directly hit Utah and how much precipitation we’ll get out of that,” said Cheng.
