“Manea (MA nae UH) is my sister, and to me that would be enough, but I also know that she works real hard to be the best she can at her job. her husband and children have supported her as she’s studied for years to get her education and training, and she has done the same for them as they’ve each gone to school to better themselves for work and life. and almost straight out of school, at the start of her brand new job, she ended up becoming the head of her department. A job which took on and tackled head first, despite being brand new and inexperienced at her job. Manea is a special education resource teacher, who teaches English language arts. In speaking with the principal of her school, I came to find out that she’s not only the head of the Special education department in her school, but is part of the school’s leadership team, is on various committees, and advocates for her students in the things they do, and ALWAYS keeps the students needs and their wellbeing and learning first. She connects with the families and parents of her students, is a voice of reason for the school staff, is dedicated, is highly competent at the things she does, and gives selflessly of her time, energy, and resources.”
