Police have suspect in custody in Roy homicide

ROY, Utah — Police in Roy responded to an emergency call overnight that turned into a homicide investigation. The victim’s name has not yet been released as police are still working to notify his family.
Police said they had a suspect in the homicide, and that individual is now in custody. Both the victim and suspect are between the ages of 35 and 45.

The investigation is happening in the Midland community on C Street in Roy. Neighbors told KSL’s Felicia Martinez they heard a “boom” over the weekend.
