Rain expected across Utah on Saturday, cooler temps by Monday

SALT LAKE CITY — It’s a good bet that wherever you are in Utah on Saturday, you could see some rain.

“It won’t be big, it’s not a total washout for the day,” said KSL meteorologist Kevin Eubank, “but there are chances for rain all the way from St. George up to Logan.”

And Saturday’s rain might help northern Utahns settle into a major cooldown expected to start off the week.

Eubank said that skies will become partly cloudy on Sunday, and by Sunday night a cold front is expected to move in. That could bring rain overnight Sunday into Monday, but Eubank says what will be most noticeable is the cooler temperatures along the Wasatch Front.

He says highs could only be in the 60s by Monday, and that the low on Tuesday morning could be close to 40.
