Two vehicle crash in Logan claims the life of a 37-year-old man

LOGAN, Utah — Logan police say one person died Tuesday following a two-vehicle crash.
Police say the crash occurred in the area of 1050 W. 200 North (Highway 30) at 1:45 p.m.
According to a news release from Logan police, a Ford Taurus was traveling westbound. It crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic and struck a Dodge Ram that was pulling a flatbed trailer with farm equipment.
The driver of the Taurus, a 37-year-old male, was extricated from the vehicle with critical injuries and was transported to an area hospital. However, the release states that the man later passed away from his injuries.
The other driver did not suffer any injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. The identity of the victim has not been released, pending family notification.
