SPANISH FORK, Utah — The Utah County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 70-year-old woman on a single count of sodomy, a first-degree felony, from 30 years ago.
Law enforcement personnel say the arrest of Roselle “Rosie” Anderson Stevenson is directly connected to previous charges filed last year against David Hamblin.
According to a news release, the incident involved a child under 13 years of age. And it occurred in Spring City in or around 1994.
These cases are part of ongoing investigation of children that were sexually abused in Utah, Juab and Sanpete counties in the 1980s and 1990s.
A judge has ruled Stevenson be held without bail.
