WEST JORDAN, Utah — Students began leaving Copper Hills High School Thursday afternoon after spending most of the day in lockdown.
West Jordan Police Sgt. Kendall Holt said three students were involved in a fight that sent one student to the hospital.
“The condition is serious from what I’ve been told at this time,” Holt said.
By 3 p.m. on Thursday, parents were trying to pick up their children from school while the police investigation was ongoing.
Holt said that no firearms were found during the course of their investigation.
The two other students reportedly involved in the fight were being questioned by detectives.
