SALT LAKE CITY — Winds of up to 65 mph caused traffic restrictions and at least three rollovers on I-80 on Friday. The issues on I-80 came as the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for parts of the state.
The NWS advisory is in place until 4 p.m. and covers the Great Salt Lake Desert, Tooele Valley, Millard and Juab Counties and several towns including Vernon and Cedar City.
Travel for high-profile vehicles like semis, RVs and trailers is restricted east and westbound on I-80 between Lake Point, Tooele County and Wendover at the Nevada state line.
