SALT LAKE CITY — All Alaska Airlines flights were briefly grounded this morning. The Federal Aviation Administration issued a nationwide ground stop.
The order did not apply to Alaska’s regional airline, SkyWest.
According to a social post by FlightRadar24, technical issues are to blame.

CNN reported flights were forced to ground because of a software issue. Flights were suspended for about one hour.
