Officials identify snowmobile driver hit and killed near Strawberry

HEBER CITY, Utah — The Utah Department of Public Safety has identified a snowmobile driver killed in a crash on Sunday night near Strawberry Reservoir.
Officials said that a group of people were unloading their snowmobiles in the Chicken Creek parking area. As one of the snowmobilers began crossing SR-40 from the parking lot, a large semi-truck traveling east hit the rider.

Christopher P. Brown, age 44, from Farmington, Utah, was the snowmobile driver killed at the scene near Strawberry Reservoir.
The road was closed for approximately three hours during an investigation.
