Boil order in place for Kamas City water

KAMAS CITY, Utah — Residents of Kamas City should bring water to a rolling boil for three minutes before drinking, cooking, doing dishes, washing hands, or brushing their teeth.

At 7 a.m. today, Summit County Facebook issued a boil order. The posts said showering in untreated water is not recommended.

That said, it is ok for pets to drink untreated water in Kamas City.
