Cowabunga Bay temporarily closed due to fire

DRAPER, Utah — A severe building fire early this morning has left Cowabunga Bay temporarily inoperable. Also, phone lines are down at the facility. Therefore, direct all concerns and questions to their email at info@cowabungabay.com.
The fire began in an attic and moved through most of the area. According to the Draper City Fire Department, the fire caused $75,00-100,000 in damages. Furthermore, the fire was secluded in that one area.
Clint Smith, Fire Chief for Draper City Fire Department said the call for the fire came in around 2:30 in the morning.
The cause is under investigation.
Cowabunga Bay said they are currently working to reopen the park.
