Deadly wildfires in California have burned more than 4 million acres (6,250 square miles) this year, a new record for the most acres burned in a single year.
Firefighters are still asking people to stay away from the Neffs Fire, which is burning above Millcreek. Officials say the wildfire was ignited last week due to lightning and is burning about a mile up Neff’s Canyon near Olympus Cove.
